The Benefit of Badminton

Badminton is one of the most popular sport in the world. Especially in Asia, badminton has grown as a favorite sport that played not only by adults, but also by children and elderly people. Badminton has become one of the most powerful Olympic programs, along with tennis and soccer.

Badminton is a sport that requires us to have aerobic stamina, agility, speed, and precision. Also a good motor coordination is needed in badminton. It's shows how badminton is one of the high level sports. It shows that badminton is good to train our body become more flexible and have good coordination.

Therefore, badminton is one of the cardio sports. It trains the heart muscle to pump the blood better. It makes the metabolism of the body become more healthier and burns the fat of the body. Studies shows that badminton is a sport that burns more calories compared to soccer, diving, and running. It means badminton is also a sport that helps us when we are in a diet program.

On top of that, badminton is a sport that relieves stress. Playing sport triggers the endorphins, dopamines, and serotonins hormones in our body. Those hormones replace the cortisol and epinephrine hormones in our body. Cortisol and epinephrine are the hormones that trigger stress. The happy hormones make us gain more positive energies and prevent mental illness. Also, the happy hormones make our sleeps better and effective.

From those facts, we know that badminton has a lot of benefits for our body. The sport make us healthier and happier. So, let's play badminton!
