LDKS
So, my school just held an event which is required for all 10th class students. The event named LDKS or Student Basic Leadership Training. The event took place at PUSSENIF TNI AD.
The event was fun. We spent 3 days and 2 nights at the army barracks. Trainers from infantry gave us lessons about leadership and discipline. Our seniors also helped trainers and teachers along the event.
At the first day, we gathered in PUSSENIF main field at 6.30 a.m. After everyone gathered, the trainers divided us into several groups based on gender, since we were gonna sleep in the same barrack with our groupmates.
After we done for dividing groups, we did ceremony as usual. After then, we went to a hall and get some lessons there. We also had lunch there. The first day, was filled by lessons that presented by the trainers so we have more knowledge.
And finally, the second day came. Here, we were learning about how to line especially in flag ceremony. We were learning the whole day until the noon.
After got some resting, we together walked to Taman Makam Pahlawan Cikutra to do Caraka Malam there. We were given a news by the trainer and we have to delivered it to other trainer that has been waited for us. We should across the cemetery with the route that has been directed with a yellow string.
We stayed up till 2 a.m. After that, finally we could go back to the barracks to rest.
The next day was the last day for us to stay here. After having breakfast, we did some outbound games together with our group. The games were fun. We could learn about team-work and team building by playing the games.
After that, we took a lunch together when watching the G30/S-PKI movie. It was a well-known movie in Indonesia. The story was about a conflict that made by PKI with TNI and made some chaos in Indonesia.
Then, we packed our stuff and were getting ready to go home. Before we went home, we did the closing ceremony. And finally, we went home with our parents who have been waiting for us.
The LDKS was so fun. It was such a good experience. Although, I was tired, but I still felt pleased with it.
